The plot involves Charles Bigelow's (Paul Le Mat) plight when he searches for his ex-wife and daughter. He ends up in Illinois where he runs into aliens who seem caught in the 1950's styles and customs. When Bigelow relates his story to a tabloid, the aliens head for him, and the chase is on.
