That does not stop Tom from pursuing her, and the "500 days" represents the time during which Tom is obsessed with winning Summer's affection. The story jumps back and forth during the 500 days, and one segment is highlighted by a split-screen on which one side is labeled "expectation," while the other is labeled "reality" as Tom tries to convince Summer that they have found true love. 1 User Review

Now, Big Z trains Cody for the next surfing competition, and Cody has a chance of getting his act together. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
