In this three-episode feature film, Timmy Martin (Jon Provost) and his dog Lassie are carried off in a giant balloon that finally lands them in Canada. They are befriended by a deaf-mute Indian, Chinook Pete (Richard Kiel), who wants Timmy to replace his own deceased son. Meanwhile, Timmy's parents Ruth and Paul (June Lockhart and Hugh Reilly) frantically seek help from the Canadian Mounties to track down Timmy and Lassie.
