  After his brother Kamar (Leif Erickson) tries and fails to kill him, Haroun-Al-Raschid (Jon Hall) is nursed back to health by the sultry Scheherazade (Maria Montez). Now–with help from Ali Ben Ali (Sabu), Sinbad (Shemp Howard), and Aladdin (John Qualen)–Haroun-Al-Raschid sets out to regain his position as the legal heir to the throne of the Kalif of Baghdad.

  While sailing from London to Algiers, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) protect a prince, Far Eastern regent Nikolas (Leslie Vincent), on his trip home following his father's assassination. Nikolas is disguised as Watson's son in an effort to confuse possible assassins who are on Nikolas' trail. As luck would have it, the assassins are among the passengers, and Holmes must weed out the good passengers from the bad.

  This sequel to "Paleface" adds Roy Rogers to the cast and is even funnier than the original. Bob Hope plays Peter "Junior" Potter who is the son of his original character. He heads West to claim his inheritance, but it appears that all he has been left with are debts. When he tells the creditors that his father's gold is hidden, he gains the attention of saloon owner Mike (Jane Russell) and federal agent Roy Barton (Roy Rogers) who is on Mike's trail believing that she is the leader of a gang of bandits. A highlight: Bob Hope and Trigger share the same bed!
