This low-budget effort is supposed to be a spoof of the biggie sci-fi flicks of the day, but the rocket fuse must have gotten wet. In the 31st century, the interstellar police are on their way to recover "The Blue Star" jewel. On the way, the crew must fill in the time: a crewmember falls in love with a robot; the captain swallows an egg, which turns out to be an alien; and so it goes. Dorothy Stratten, the Playboy Playmate, plays Galaxina the robot, and Stratten was murdered around the time of this film's premiere.

The Great Zamboni (Ben Kingsley), a famous–but now retired–magician, lives in a house that has a reputation for being haunted. Young orphan Max (Matt Weinberg) and his friends dare each other to enter the house, and the fun begins. A good heart-warming story, along with some magic and adventure, at least for the kids.
