  Fifty-seven years have passed since the last encounter, and Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver)–the only survivor of "Alien"–awakens from hibernation and becomes a member of a crew of soldiers on the trail of the alien in her nest (where she has devoured an entire colony except for one little girl). Intense and scary. Weaver continues her good performances and received an Oscar nomination. The film also received two Oscars (Best Visual Effects and Sound Effects Editing) and was nominated for four others.

The killing spree begins, and the corpses pile up while Holmes and Watson work to unravel Blackwood's deadly plot involving deceit and black magic.
