Again, this good serial has many ambushes, etc. to keep the audience anxious for the next episode as the Lone Ranger and Tonto, with help from Juan (Duncan Renaldo), come to the aid of the settlers.

  San Francisco Police Lieutenant Ed Cullen (Lee J. Cobb) is having an affair with married socialite Lois Frazer (Jane Wyatt) who is divorcing her husband Howard (Harlan Warde). When Lois shoots and kills Howard, Ed comes to her aid and helps her get rid of the body. They deposit the body at the airport, but Ed's brother Andy (John Dall), who just happens to be a homicide detective, discovers the cover-up. Ed and Lois flee to the abandoned Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. The police track them down and arrest them. Ed's trial begins, and he faces the fact that Lois has captivated her lawyer, and Ed is now out of her life.
