  Alien Klaatu (Michael Rennie) with his robot Gort (Lock Martin) make a trip to Earth to discover the nature of its people. When the Earthlings discover the aliens and their purpose, they become very intent on a plan to capture the two spy aliens. This film set the standard for sci-fi movies.

  While traveling with his carnival, Roy Rogers needs $10,000 to pay off a carnival loan. He learns from his sidekick, Cookie Bullfincher (Andy Devine), that there is a $10,000 reward being offered for the capture of gypsy Rico Perado (Tito Guizar), and he captures him. But, Roy soon realizes that Rico is innocent and lets him go. The real villain is Harry Blaisdell (Charles McGraw) who Roy chases down and brings to justice. The reward money saves the carnival, and the show moves on to the next town.

Hysteria fills the town–until Carolyn is found when it is discovered that she has fallen down a well. Now, Claude comes to her rescue, brings Carolyn to safety, and racial tensions are relieved.   This is truly a great film for all time, especially for families to discuss the implications of suspicious insecurities we hold for people of different backgrounds.
This would be a good movie to show in places where there are no ethnic people and why we don't become friends and neighbors with other people?
