Kung (Zhenhua Niu); Ching-ling (Maggie Cheung) married the revolutionary founder of modern China, Sun Yat-Sen (Winston Chao); and May-ling (Vivian Wu) married China's leader during World War II, Chiang Kai-Shek (Hsing-kuo Wu).
