  Adele (Susan Sarandon) decides to take her daughter Ann (Natalie Portman) and flee Wisconsin looking for an exciting life in Beverly Hills, California. Adele leaves her husband Ted (Ray Baker) behind, and the women leave in their Mercedes Benz on their adventure. They arrive in California where, away from the bonds of family, they must rely on each other–no matter how difficult that may be, and Adele constantly tries to convince Ann that they have made the right decision.

  I saw this movie for the first time over the weekend and it was excellent. There's not a star in it that wasn't just great!!!!!!!!!!!!
