This is the fourth in the series of Chevy Chase "Vacation" films about the hapless Griswold family who–by now–should know to NEVER take a family vacation together. The Griswolds visit Las Vegas, and Clark (Chevy Chase) hits the blackjack table and, encouraged by the dealer Marty (Wallace Shawn), loses all of his money. Meanwhile, Clark's wife Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) falls for lounge singer Wayne Newton (Himself) and is invited to sing with him. Their daughter Audrey (Marisol Nichols) joins up with her stripper cousin Vickie (Shae D'Lyn), and they visit dance clubs. To make the vacation a complete disaster, their son Rusty (Ethan Embry is great at playing dice and falls in with gangsters. Cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) offers to help, but will Eddie succeed in bringing the family to its senses?
