  After Jerry Cummings (Forrest Taylor) gives as collateral a large diamond to loan sharks (Monte Blue and Jack Mulhall), his daughter Betsy (Joan Barclay) pretends to be a thief to keep the loan sharks from running off with the diamond. But, artist Jimmy Baxter (Bruce Bennett), who is not aware of Betsy's true identity, interferes because he thinks the loan sharks are good guys.
