Meanwhile, her head now has telepathic powers, and, by story's end, she will use those powers to prevent Bill from murdering the woman (Adele Lamont) whom he has chosen to replace Jan's body.

Ellen and Bud begin a romantic relationship, but when Ellen investigates circumstances behind Dorothy's death, Bud zeroes in on Ellen as his next victim. This film was remade in 1991.
