In the midst of John's dilemma, he runs into his ex-girlfriend Marianne (Dana Delany) and looks to her as the answer to his problems. But, Marianne is a recovering drug addict and doesn't want to become involved with John.   If I could rate this movie any higher than a 10, I would. This is one of the most amazing, inspiring, heartwarming movies I have ever seen. I will never know Leonardo DiCaprio for anything other than this movie, which is by far, one of the best I've ever seen. Despite being incredibly long, I was captivated in every moment of this romantic story taking place during one of the most tragic events in history. Never a dull moment, I laughed and cried more during this movie than I had ever done in any other movie before. This shouldn't even be called a movie. It should be called an epic.
