Set in Baltimore in 1954, it is the "Drapes" vs. the "Squares" in this good comedy/musical. Cry-Baby (Johnny Depp) is the bike-riding, black-jacketed, juvenile delinquent from the wrong side of the tracks, while Allison (Amy Locane) is a good girl who falls for Cry-Baby and is looking for a new lifestyle. The 1950s are recreated well, complete with jukeboxes and music of the era.
