Just like in "The Prince and the Pauper," this movie goes with the premise of a rich man, Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd)–this time, a Philadelphia commodity broker–changing places with a poor man, Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy), who is a con-artist. The Duke brothers–Randolph and Mortimer (Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche) make a bet on whether or not Louis will resort to crime when he loses his position in life. Throw in lots of good comedy, and you have a film worth watching.
