They go to the church, but the money is missing, and now they hold the parishioners captive. Among the group of hostages are choirmaster Rickey (Katt Williams), Sister Doris (Loretta Devine), and Pastor Arthur Mitchell (Chi McBride). Rick recovers from the bite and finds that he has gained super powers with skin as strong as steel, and he decides to use his powers to promote goodness. He dons a costume and becomes The Dragonfly. But, as always happens, there is a nemesis–this time, in the person of Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald) who is the CEO of Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals and has become a super-villain in the form of The Hourglass. Will The Dragonfly find the means to stop The Hourglass from leeching the life force from all he encounters in order to achieve immortality?
