Bi-sexual Claudine (Christina Applegate) works as a laundress at a motel on Dolphin Island off the coast of Georgia; she also has a night job as a stripteaser. Along comes Italian Stefano (Stefano Dionisi) who takes a job as handyman at the motel, and a relationship with Claudine begins. But, he must deal with her major mood swings, as well as the baby that is now due.
