This is the Edward D. Wood Jr. film that features the now famous "fight" between a dissipated Bela Lugosi and a prop-room octopus–minus its electrical hook-up. Do NOT miss this one! If you feel particularly daring, follow up with the sequel, "Night of the Ghouls."    1 User Review

So bad it's good!Bobo 11/20/2007
If for no other reason, watch this flick to enjoy Lugosi's "over the top" soliloquy which begins with: "Home? I have-a-no home!"
... and how can you miss this mad scientist's lab subjects sporting electronic headwear (a colander with a chin strap and wires) ?!
All this and Tor Johnson too?

This sequel to "Bride of the Monster" took 23 years to release because (a) it was so bad or (b) the lab bill was not paid. Now it is available, and the viewer can check it out to decide which answer is correct. Speaking of checking it out, our cop friends check out ghost sightings in East L.A.

Many critics rate this film as the worst movie ever made. It stars Bela Lugosi, but Bela died early in the making of the movie. Undaunted, Ed Wood used old home movies and an actor, holding a cape across his face, to fill in for Lugosi's role in the story.
