Add to this Peter's former best friend, Harry Osborn (James Franco), who has been training for revenge against Spider-Man because he blames Spider-Man for his father's death. And, as if this was not enough, freelance photographer Eddie Brock (Topher Grace) is plotting to take Peter's job at the Daily Bugle. But, Eddie/the New Goblin is transformed into Venom after coming in contact with an alien goo that also permeates the Spider-Man costume and brings out the dark side of Peter. And finally, Peter's romance with Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) continues down its tumultuous road. Three villains vs. one hero equals lots of action and great special effects for Spider-Man's many fans to enjoy.
