In this film, the third in the "Omen" series, Sam Neill plays Damien the Antichrist who rises to power as the wealthy head of Thom Industries, the world's largest multinational corporation. When Damien sees a sign indicating the second coming of Christ on March 24th, in an effort to track down a reborn Jesus, he orders his followers to kill as many babies as possible who were born on that date. Matters come to a head when a band of Italian monks try to stop the killings and set out to assassinate Damien.
