While visiting her diabolical stepfather Anton Arcane (Louis Jourdan) who experiments with turning humans into weird animals, Abby (Heather Locklear) doesn't realize that Anton is planning to use her body to rejuvenate himself. But her life is saved, and she falls in love with Swamp Thing (Dick Durock) after Swamp Thing appears on the scene just in time to save Abby from being killed by Arcane. In the process, Swamp Thing avenges himself for his condition that Arcane imposed on him years before.
