But, just before Christmas, Dad realizes that what really matters is Buddy, and they enjoy their Christmas present of each other's love and affection. This made-for-TV film is adapted from a Truman Capote short story.

The Rosa Parks Story 2002 TV, 90 min. Genre: Drama
Director: Julie Dash Cast: Angela Bassett, Peter Francis James, Cicely Tyson, Dexter King, Nick LaTour, Tonea Stewart, Von Coulter, Charde Manzy, Stephanie Astalos-Jones, Sonny Shroyer
Rosa Parks (excellently played by Angela Bassett) is best known for her refusal to obey bus segregation rules, but she was a pioneer in the civil rights movement. This is her story, diluted somewhat, but still powerful as it traces her life from her school days, to membership in the NAACP, and resulting major Civil Rights activities.
