But, after looking at the rule book, they come up with a loophole that allows them to compete in doubles competition. They form a team and decide to include the Iron Lotus (a maneuver that has only been performed once in the past and resulted in the decapitation of one of the partners). As if this does not cause enough trouble for them, they must also deal with the brother and sister team of champions–Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg (Will Arnett and Amy Poehler)–who are determined to sabotage the Chazz and Jimmy team.

All of the people in Jamie's life are included in this book, and Jamie is horrified to realize that part of this journal was accidentally turned in as a homework assignment. When her "essay" wins a contest, it is turned into a book and becomes a bestseller. Jamie is thrown into a life of fame and popularity. She has new friends, fans, and the cutest boy in school. But now Jamie has to decide whether being a bestselling author is worth losing her best friends. (Review by LW)
