Irish brothers Mickey (Edward Burns) and Francis (Mike McGlone) along with their father (John Mahoney) have problems in relationships with women. Mickey, for example, meets and marries Hope (Maxine Bahns)–all within 24 hours. What Hope failed to tell Mickey is that she expects him to follow her to Paris where she plans to attend the Sorbonne. This film won the Grand Jury Prize at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival.
