Nine-year-old Joshua (Jacob Kogan) lives in New York City with his parents Brad and Abby (Sam Rockwell and Vera Farmiga) and the family's cute dog. Life appears fine–until Joshua's new baby sister, Lily, appears on the scene. Lily screams all the time, Brad and Abby suffer from the disruptions, the dog dies, and the dark side of Joshua emerges.
