Meanwhile, Union General Buford (Sam Elliott) attacks Confederate troops trying to get into position. The story uses both Union and Confederate perspectives to provide a good interpretation of the famous Battle of Gettysburg that claimed 53,000 lives. Both the acting and battle scenes are excellent.

Magruder takes on her case, and very soon finds himself in a situation way over his head.

Assassins Lazlo Soot (Tommy Flanagan), Ariella Martinez (Martha Higareda), and Finbar McTeague (Vinnie Jones) are on the trail of FBI analyst Walter Weed (Tom Berenger) after a $3 million bounty is offered. Also on the hunt are the Tremor family (Maury Sterling, Michael Parks, Autumn Reeser, and C. Ernst Harth). When the FBI uncovers the plot, Agent Baker (Clayne Crawford) and his heavily armed team come to rescue Weed, and bloody battles follow.
