Mask of Death 1996 R, 89 min. Genre: Action
Director: David Mitchell Cast: Lorenzo Lamas, Rae Dawn Chong, Billy Dee Williams, George Jenesky, Jerry Wasserman, Thomas Cavanagh, Kevin McNulty, Tim Henry, Ciara Hunter, James Crescenzo
Lyle (Lorenzo Lamas) and Frank (George Jenesky) are on the lam, though Frank is really working for the FBI to trap Lyle. In the process they take hostages, including Detective Turner (Rae Dawn Chong) and Detective McKenna's (also Lamas) wife. When McKenna shows up, bullets fly and Lyle is killed. Now, McKenna takes on the persona of Lyle to finish the job, as does Turner, McKenna's partner. Poor story, poor acting, poor directing, etc.
