Trouble Comes to Town 1972 TV, 74 min. Genre: Drama
Director: Daniel Petrie Cast: Lloyd Bridges, Pat Hingle, Thomas Evans, Hari Rhodes, Janet MacLachlan, James Wheaton, Austin Stoker, Joseph Bottoms, Sheree North
Sheriff Murdock (Lloyd Bridges) of a southern town takes in a northern juvenile delinquent–an African-American youth (Thomas Evans). (The youth's father had saved Murdock during the Korean War.) Racial tensions result from the sheriff's action, and when the number of car thefts increases, the tensions also increase. A good made-for-TV film.
