  During his off-duty hours, an Edinburgh cab driver (Boris Karloff) becomes a grave robber supplying fresh corpses for Dr. MacFarlane (Henry Daniell) to use in his medical research. Blackmail and murders ensue in this chilling thriller set in the mid-1800s. The tale is based on a short story by Robert Louis Stevenson and is a prototype of the thriller genre. This is the last movie in which Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff starred together.    1 User Review
