But, she gets in trouble with the law, and the court judge set up to handle Carol's case is an older and wiser Edith (Helen MacKellar), her birth mother. By story's end, both Carol and Edith win.

But she did not die, and the butler (Clarence Muse) has kept her locked away until she recovers from her amnesia that resulted from the accident. She routinely gets out, and when she looks in the doctor's window, he is put in a trance and kills people he runs across. Cheap, but the good direction helps keep an eerie atmosphere.

Unknown to Storm, Tex and Mule are friends, and they plot to rid the town of Storm. Lots of songs in this film debut of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys.
