Dragonheart 1996 PG-13, 108 min. Genre: Animation / Adventure / Fantasy / Drama
Director: Rob Cohen Cast: Dennis Quaid, Sean Connery, David Thewlis, Dina Meyer, Julie Christie, Pete Postlethwaite, Brian Thompson, Jason Isaacs, Lee Oakes, Wolf Christian, Terry O'Neill, Eva Vejmelková
In this medieval tale (actually three stories in one), Draco (voice of Sean Connery) is a dragon with a Scottish accent that joins forces with an embittered dragon slayer, Bowen (Dennis Quaid). The two work out a con game to fill their idle time now that dragons and dragon slayers are passe. The con becomes real when they stave off the advances of the psychopath, King Einon (David Thewlis). While the plots are confusing, the dragon animation is great.

| | KVB 08/13/2007 | Non stop action, good theme, plot, methodical and to have a woman also as a strong figure always rates high for me. Tired of seeing only men having the spotlight in portrayal of strong characters . Where is the sequel??
Bravo...also no profanity nor nudity....which if it had would've degraded the essence. It was Excellent!! Thank you! |
