In this pilot for the 1970s' TV series, LAPD Police Captain Casey Reardon (Harry Guardino) gives policewoman Christie Love (Teresa Graves) orders to go undercover and break up a vicious drug ring, which is led by Enzo Cortino (Paul Stevens). Christie succeeds in her mission when she finds evidence that Cortino's girlfriend, Helen Varga (Louise Sorel), put a child up for adoption and has kept the matter hidden from Cortino. Christie puts the squeeze on Helen who then cooperates with Christie.
