A fast-developing storm appears over Rutland, VT, dropping large hail, and a plane carrying a liver for a sick boy goes down in the mountains. The boy's father (Ted McGinley) braves the elements, finds the plane and liver, makes it through the storm, and now must deliver it, though the boy is trapped in ruins resulting from the storm. Whew! [2003 was a bad year for Rutland–the film "Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke" also occurred there.]

As a result of the harassment, the nerds proceed to show that skill and cunning will beat out strength and agility any time.
