Jason Bourne (Richard Chamberlain) washes ashore near a French village. He had been shot several times, but a retired doctor brings him back to health. The problem: Jason does not have any idea who he is or what happened to him. He also has no idea why a microfilm containing a Swiss bank account code is imbedded in his thigh. As he searches for his identity, he is followed by assassins, and wherever he goes he is recognized. It appears that he may be a feared terrorist. This TV miniseries is a good (and faithful) rendition of Robert Ludlum's novel.
