Now the safety of those on Amity Island lies in the hands of Police Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider), ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss), and fisherman Quint (Robert Shaw). They board Quint's boat "The Orca" and hunt down the deadly creature. The filmmakers do a superior job of building suspense with music, camera angles, and a shark that doesn't appear until 82 minutes into the film.
