Deep under the sea is a research base where a nuclear missile site is to be completed soon. When it is discovered that the base is resting on a thin layer of seabed, it makes sense to use explosives to destroy the layer–well, the team leader thought it made sense. Wouldn't you know it, a sea monster is unleashed–and it is hungry. Slow, poor.

Oliver & Company 1988 G, 72 min. Genre: Animation / Family / Comedy / Musical
Director: George Scribner Cast: Joey Lawrence, Billy Joel, Cheech Marin, Richard Mulligan, Roscoe Lee Browne, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Dom DeLuise, Bette Midler, Robert Loggia, Natalie Gregory, Taurean Blacque, Carl Weintraub, Frank Welker
This animated Disney flick follows a kitten, Oliver (voice of Joey Lawrence) as he experiences adventures in the tough streets of New York. Though OK for the young ones, the gangster-ridden story may be a little much for the youngest ones. Loosely based on Dickens' "Oliver Twist." 1 User Review
