Many liberties were taken with Victor Herbert's operetta in this animated film, but will be fun for the youngsters. It is just before Christmas with a big order to fill at Toyland's factory. Alas, bad Barnaby (voice of Christopher Plummer) intends to shut the factory down to spoil the holiday for everyone. But wait, here come Jack and Jill (voices of Joseph Ashton and Lacey Chabert) and a host of other nursery rhyme characters to save the day.
