  Holly Davis (Mary Tyler Moore) is a happily married housewife, with no apparent problems, who runs into a big one when she discovers that her new friend Sandy Dunlap (Christine Lahti) and she are in love with the same man: Holly's husband Chip (Ted Danson). Chip dies suddenly, and, in the midst of the tragedy, Holly discovers that Sandy is pregnant and has been trying to keep it a secret. Problems rise to the fore, but Chip's friend Harry Crandall (Sam Waterston) steps in to help.

  powerful and moving story of a family being torn apart by the tragic death of a son. Great acting in this moving drama. Wonderful cinematography for the 80's. Set in Montana...beautiful scenery (including one of the extras...a real knockout!)
