  Based on Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Sign of Four," this is a good mystery story of Sherlock Holmes (Charlton Heston) and Dr. Watson (Richard Johnson) solving the mystery of retired British soldiers who have become affected by a curse of a treasure that was stolen many years before. The answer may lie in a piece of a map that has a cross painted on it in human blood, and Sherlock must find that map.

  This excellent TV miniseries does justice to Jane Austen's classic tale of the relationships of two people caught in the 19th-century class system when headstrong Elizabeth (Jennifer Ehle) meets wealthy Mr. Darcy (Colin Firth). Darcy courts Elizabeth, and problems ensue over the issues of manners and love when the couple learns that they must deal with their different perspectives on life if they are to live their lives together.
