She encourages him to continue the experiments, and the Pretorious creature returns and draws the others into its labyrinth. Good special effects.

He agrees to haul a secret cargo bound for Earth, and takes off with two cohorts (Stephen Dorff and Debi Mazar). Engine troubles, space pirates, and a cargo that is an army of robots to take over the Earth add to the "fun". OK, but clearly B-class.

Brandi drinks too much, and when she drives home, she runs into a homeless man, Tom (Stephen Rea). The impact smashes Tom through Brandi's broken windshield. Knowing that the accident will ruin her promotion possibilities, Brandi drives the car into her garage and plans to let Tom die there. But, Tom doesn't die and now realizes that he, and he alone, must save himself from certain death.
