Surfing is his life, and nothing can tear him away from it–aside from the fact that his parents have just dropped the news on him that the family's moving! Of all places, cold, snowy Vermont is where they are heading. Now the coolest guy of the place he came from is falling fast to the bottom in Vermont, where the kids are snobby and disrespectful. As Johnny tries skiing, he comes up with something better, almost like a surfboard! Johnny soon learns how the skiers and snowboarders don't get along, and he'll have to choose his real friends from the rival school, or at his new school where his dad works. (Review by EW)
