This musical is about a bizarre family of seven sisters who take the adage "You are what you eat" to the extreme. 1 User Review

| | Worth seeing for the muscle | Candy Kane 01/28/2007 | | Athena had a dumb story and some stupid songs, but it features Steve Reeves and Dick Dubois, two of the best built and handsomest bodybuilders of the day. The parts where Steve Reeves is flipped by Edmund Purdom is pure science fiction. |

The Giant of Marathon 1959 N/R, 90 min. Genre: Adventure
Director: Jacques Tourneur Cast: Steve Reeves, Mylene Demongeot, Daniela Rocca, Philippe Hersent, Sergio Fantoni, Ivo Garrani, Alberto Lupo, Miranda Campa, Daniele Vargas, Gianni Loti, Anita Todesco
Based on the 490 B.C. Greek marathon runner who ran from Marathon to Athens to warn of Persian attacks and to Sparta to get assistance in the defense of Greece, there are many liberties taken as our hero (Steve Reeves) takes charge of the fighting and saves the Athenians, Greece, and even the rest of Europe from the dastardly Persians.

Hercules 1957 N/R, 107 min. Genre: Foreign / Adventure
Director: Pietro Francisci Cast: Steve Reeves, Sylva Koscina, Fabrizio Mioni, Ivo Garrani, Arturo Dominici, Mimmo Palmara, Lidia Alfonsi, Gina Rovere, Gabriele Antonini
This Italian-made film started a series of he-man fantasies when it was brought to the U.S. and, through good marketing, was a hit. Former Mr. Universe Steve Reeves plays Hercules of mythology in the retelling of "Jason and the Golden Fleece." The superhero Hercules must succeed in a series of difficult quests in order to win the fair (and scantily clad) maiden, Iole (Sylva Koscina).

| | Steve Reeves takes his shirt off! | Candy Kane 01/28/2007 | | Okay, this movie stink as only an Ed Wood movie can, but you have to see Steve Reeves in his debut play a cop who takes his shirt off at the precinct for no good reason other than to show off his magnificent chest. |

The White Warrior 1959 N/R, 86 min. Genre: Foreign / Adventure
Director: Riccardo Freda Cast: Steve Reeves, Giorgia Moll, Renato Baldini, Scilla Gabel, Gerard Herter, Nikola Popovic, Milivoje Zivanovic, Niksa Stefanini, Jovan Gec
Steve Reeves still looks and acts like Hercules, although this poor effort is actually based on a Tolstoy story of the fight against the mean Czar Nicholas I in 19th-century Russia. There is also a terrible dubbed version out there.
