Adam (John Cusack), Nick (Craig Robinson), and Lou (Rob Corddry) were once best friends, but the stresses of adult life have caused them to grow apart. The three friends, along with Adam's geeky nephew Jacob (Clark Duke) head off to a ski lodge that was their favorite getaway party place of their youth. Sadly, time has changed the ski lodge, but the men check into the same room that they stayed in during their youth. Upon investigation, they find a seemingly unusable hot tub attached to their room. When the hot tub inexplicably starts working again, they pile in for a night of partying and wake up in the past–before Jacob was born. Now, they must find a way back to their own time while trying their hardest to avoid doing anything that would irreversably change their future. But then again, maybe a few changes may be good after all.
