  Set in the 18th century, this is Marie Louise de la Ramee's children's story about an orphan, Nello (Jesse James), living with his beloved dog and grandfather, Jehan Daas (Jack Warden). Nello dreams of becoming an artist, and he gets encouragement from his best friend Aloise (Madylin Sweeten) and from a famous artist Michel La Grande (Jon Voight). Years later, Nello (now played by Jeremy James Kissner) enters an art competition, which he loses. Nello is upset and leaves home on a difficult journey that will help him understand the values of life.    1 User Review

  I thought it was wonderful to finally see such a good, heartfelt movie. We live in a day and age where we see so much violence that we often forget to help one other. I love it

  Carter Page III (Woody Harrelson) is gay and serves as an escort to middle-aged wives–Natalie (Lauren Bacall), Abigail (Lily Tomlin), and Lynn (Kristin Scott Thomas)–of powerful men in Washington, D.C. When he escorts Lynn to a tryst with lobbyist Robbie Kononsberg (Steven Hartley), she discovers Robbie's murdered body. Now Carter tries to protect Lynn and her husband Larry (Willem Dafoe) from the media and, with his photographer lover Ernek (Moritz Bleibtreu), begins an investigation of the murder.
