This made-for-TV prequel to the Stephen King miniseries "Rose Red" is based on a novel by Ridley Pearson. Set at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, this is the story of Ellen (Lisa Brenner), whose rich, new husband (Steven Brand) built the Rose Red mansion for her as a wedding present. As time goes on, Ellen becomes suspicious of her husband's past, and it appears that the house may be haunted with some of his acquaintances who had disappeared.
