In this sequel to "Piranha" (1978), the story takes place at a Caribbean resort. After humans are found dead inside a sunken ship, scuba diver Ann Kimbrough (Tricia O'Neil) and Tyler Sherman (Steve Marachuk) break into the morgue and find that the bodies have been eaten by fish that can fly. The resort is having a fish fry at the beach, and the guests are destined to become food for the piranhas. This film represents James Cameron's first directing effort–he fared better with his next film: "The Terminator."
