Bar patron Roary (John Savage), who had attempted suicide, learned much from this group and, with help from Jerry and his romance with Louise (Diana Scarwid), gains confidence to help himself. Helping Jerry train just might work to the advantage of Roary and the other bar patrons as well during the transition period. Scarwid was nominated for an Oscar.

This sequel has the same high intensity action as the original and has added Joe Pesci as the character who is being "protected" by the two. Pesci is great as the fast-talking accountant who thinks he has a foolproof scheme of his own.

He adds additional humor to the scenes. This time, Chinese gangsters deal in slave labor and counterfeiting, while our group is the target for The Triad. Action and explosions reach a new high, as the heroes banter their way through to another successful conclusion.

More people are killed, including some of Harrigan's team, before Harrigan confronts the Predator, injures it, and becomes the hunter rather than the hunted.
