Fifteen-year-old Helena (Stephanie Leonidas) has an argument with her mother (Gina McKee) who then faints and is put in a hospital. Helena suffers guilt over the incident and slips into another world, known as the Dark Lands where she is mistaken for the missing daughter (also played by Leonidas) of the Queen (also played by McKee). As Helena tries to get back to reality, she thinks the Queen's daughter has replaced her at home. The answer lies in the magic talisman, which Helena finds to put everyone in their correct worlds.
