This version of the 1956 movie takes place in San Francisco where more mysterious seeds from outer space are destroying the citizens. When the flowers from those seeds make a webbing while the victims sleep, they take over their human forms. Although they now look human, they are really emotionless creatures controlled by aliens that want to run the world. Biologist Elizabeth Driscoll (Brooke Adams) notices that her boyfriend Geoffrey (Art Hindle) doesn't appear normal and consults with psychiatrist Dr. Kibner (Leonard Nimoy) who tells her that she is imagining things. Finally Elizabeth, her co-worker Matthew Bennell (Donald Sutherland), and friends Jack and Nancy Bellicec (Jeff Goldblum and Veronica Cartwright) join forces and set out to uncover the facts about what is happening in their world. 1 User Review

| | Great movie | Anonymous Guy 03/18/2009 | | Invasion of the Body Snatchers was a great movie! Great plot, great cast (Lenard Nimoy was great!) and the music was good too. It makes you think, what if that really happened? If body snatchers from another planet took over earth? What if you could trust no one? What if you were the last remains of the human race? That would be so depressing. The movie is not only reaching, but a little profound in a way. In short, I loved it. |

Nightmare in Blood 1978 R, 9j0 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: John Stanley Cast: Kerwin Mathews, Jerry Walter, Dan Caldwell, Barrie Youngfellow, John Cochran, Ray K. Goman, Hy Pyke, Mark Anger, Drew Eshelman, Morgan Upton, Justin Bishop, Stan Ritchie
Attendees at a Horror-Film convention in San Francisco are pleased when the guest-of-honor is a popular actor, Malakai (Jerry Walter), who plays a vampire in his films. But when it becomes clear that he is REALLY a vampire, steps must be taken by some of the vampire "experts" at the convention. A somewhat fun spoof of the genre.
